Spanish Ministry

Iglesia Bautista Leon Valley

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. – Mark 16:15

Reaching Our Hispanic Community

Our Spanish ministry which began on November 7th of 2021, was started to increase our reach into our community. San Antonio has an enormous hispanic/latino population with many of them desiring an all Spanish church service and we are here to provide that for them.

We are one united church serving the Lord together and growing in Christ together. By offering services in English, ASL, and Spanish to our community, God can use us to reach even more for Christ.

Spanish Sunday Morning Service begin at 10:30 am

Spanish Wednesday Evening Service begins at 7:00 pm

Spanish Sunday School

Our goal is not to only worship God, but to serve Him as well. God has commissioned us to reach the entire world for Christ and the requires work; the work of the ministry.

Sunday school is one of the methods that we use to prepare people for the ministry. After a person receives Christ as their personal Savior, we work at transforming that person into a disciple of Christ; one that will grow in knowledge of Christ and His Word and then apply that knowledge in serving Him.

Spanish Sunday School begins at 9:30 am.

Meet Pastor Yoder

Pastor Bob (Roberto) Yoder served as an assistant pastor at Grace Bible Baptist Church in New Paris, Indiana for 4 years before becoming the pastor of their Spanish congregation. He pastored that congregation for 14 years before the Lord called him to serve Him in San Antonio. He moved to San Antonio in October of 2021 and on November 7th, had their first service entirely in Spanish here at LVBC. He has a love for the Spanish language and is thrilled to be able to offer people a chance to congregate where they can worship God, hear the preaching of His Word, and fellowship with other believers all in Spanish.

Pastor Yoder was married in Mexico to Estela and they have 3 children. Two of their daughters have graduated from West Coast Baptist College and are both serving in separate ministries in different states. Their youngest is their son which is currently studying at West Coast Baptist College with plans to be a youth pastor.

Unidos Por Cristo

Christ unites us so we serve Him together!

“If you know of someone who speaks Spanish, please let them know about our church. We would love the opportunity to first make sure that they know Christ as their personal Savior and to then help them grow in their relationship with Him!”
