Exodus 5:2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.
The attitude of Pharaoh reflects the growing problem in our world and especially in America. We know not the Lord God and we do not obey Him.
Consider these simple thoughts:
- To know God in all of His Might, Power and Fury leads one to surrender to Him.
- To surrender to God is manifested in our obedience to Him.
- To know God in all His longsuffering and compassion is to respond when He says; Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18
